Patrick Carmichael is a results-oriented HR executive with extensive international experience developing the professional, management, and executive talent of global corporations. He has hands-on experience building and implementing leadership development processes, talent management systems, and facilitating organizational transformations, resulting in dynamic corporate talent pools and deep, overall bench-strength. He is also experienced in large-scale human capacity building, having been an active partner in the successful nationalization of Saudi Aramco's workforce. Patrick is also experienced in facilitating executive management teams to formulate and communicate corporate values, desired behaviors and expectations.
Prior to his retirement from the energy industry in 2010, Patrick spent 15 years at Aramco Services in Houston, Texas as the manager of training and development. There he co-designed and facilitated the company's first redesign/reengineering efforts, as well as the first action-learning programs. Transferring to Saudi Aramco in Saudi Arabia, Patrick spent 16 years providing insight and leadership to the HR functions of four business lines of the world's largest energy producer.
Today, Patrick serves as the Director of HR for Autonomous_ID based in Ottawa, Canada, and he manages the HR requirements for its US-based company, Bio_Sole International Corporation (Bio.Sole.AI), a company charged with building the future platform for mobility-based health intelligence and identity autonomy. He is also the HR Advisor to CMPartners in Cambridge, MA; the Institute for Management Studies (IMS) in Reno, NV; and EXCELR8 based in Rancho Santa Fe, CA.
Patrick completed undergraduate and graduate work at San Diego State University, and management and executive programs at Southern Methodist University, the London School of Business, and the Center for Creative Leadership. He also holds advanced certifications in Executive Coaching from CCL, and Business and M&A Acumen from JP Morgan.
