Jennifer

Marron

Jennifer Marron is a member of Expeditionary's Advisory Board.

Jenny Marron is the Executive Director of the Institute for AI Policy and Strategy (IAPS), where she leads the organization’s mission to advance effective, research-driven approaches to AI governance. In this role, Jenny sets IAPS’s strategic direction and guides its engagement with government, industry, and civil society to help navigate the opportunities and challenges of frontier AI. Jenny previously served as IAPS’s Director for Policy and Engagement, leading the organization’s policy impact and strategic partnerships.

 

Before joining IAPS, Jenny served at the White House National Security Council (NSC) and held senior roles within the Department of State, where she directed teams focused on violence mitigation, peace processes, and the application of data analysis to monitor global instability. With a strong background in foreign policy, national security, and international development, Jenny most recently led coalition engagement on development and humanitarian assistance. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Duke University and a Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy from the Fletcher School at Tufts University.
